Beth Lawrence Named Chief Financial Officer
Beth Lawrence has been named Chief Financial Officer for Alliance Metals, Inc. headquartered near Philadelphia in West Chester, PA. In this position, Beth will plan, direct and oversee all financial operations, while reporting directly to Jim Geddes, President and CEO. As stated by Mr. Geddes, “Beth joins us with a wealth of diverse financial experience in business and public accounting. We are fortunate to have her join our management team.”
Beth has held several key positions throughout her career including CEO/CFO for Chevy Chase Healthcare Management, LLC; Vice President, Director, Finance & Administration for Surveillance Data, Inc.; and Controller for Elko, Fischer, McCabe & Rudman, Ltd. Throughout her career, Beth has successfully developed, implemented, and monitored various programs and practices designed to achieve more efficient and consistent financial soundness.
A graduate of Ursinus College with a Bachelor of Accounting/Business Administration, Beth resides in Glen Mills, PA.

Todd Roberts Named Director,
Commercial Operations
Todd Roberts has been promoted to Director, Commercial Operations at Alliance Metals, Inc. headquartered near Philadelphia in West Chester, PA. In his new role, Todd will continue to manage Corporate Operations while also assuming responsibility for overseeing the Inventory Management, Strategic Sourcing, and PA Branch efforts. Todd will continue to report to Jim Geddes, President and CEO. As stated by Mr. Geddes, “Todd has made a significant contribution to Alliance Metals during the four years he has been here. I’m confident his promotion will help to maximize our effectiveness and strengthen our position for continued success.”
Todd joined Alliance Metals in 2004 with over 15 years of experience in the Metals Industry working for New Process Steel and AK Steel. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Todd currently resides in Kennett Square with his wife, four year old son and his new born daughter.

Fred Weidner Joins Pennsylvania Outside Sales Team
Fred Weidner has been promoted to an outside sales position for the Alliance Metals, Inc. Pennsylvania Branch Office. In his new position Fred is responsible for sales development and customer support for Central and Western Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.
Fred joined Alliance Metals in 2005 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Kutztown University. During his employment with Alliance Metals, Fred handled inside sales responsibilities supporting Alliance’s sales efforts in the Northeast Region. Fred currently resides in West Lawn, Pennsylvania with his wife.

Keith Swanson Joins Atlanta Sales Team
Keith Swanson has joined Alliance Metals as a Sales Representative for the Atlanta, Georgia, Branch. According to Bill Durham, Branch Manager, “Keith will be responsible for supporting our current customers while expanding our customer base and developing new markets throughout Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky. We're pleased to add Keith to the Alliance Team.”
Keith's career history includes more than ten years of experience in the metals industry, having held sales and territory management positions with Coilplus-Jackson, Inc. and Metals USA. He significantly increased territory sales for each of these companies while maintaining strong relationships with established accounts. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing & Transportation, Keith also completed the Dale Carnegie and Integrity Selling courses - and is an ISO 9001-2000 Certified Internal Auditor. Keith resides in Madison, Mississippi.

Ryan Corcoran Becomes Full Time Member of
Sales & Marketing Departments
Ryan P. Corcoran had joined Alliance Metals as a full-time employee in the Sales and Marketing Departments.
In this position, Ryan will identify and develop potential new customers and marketsfor Alliance, monitor trends in the marketplace, and assist in the development and implementation of new marketing and promotional campaigns. Ryan will also participate in Alliance's Management Development Program.
Ryan is a graduate of West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and a minor in Business Geographic and Information Systems. He was a member of Delta Chi Fraternityand acted as the Public Relations Officer for the University's Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
During 2007 Ryan completed an internship with Alliance Metals as a member of the Sales team.

Joe Burns Joins Pennsylvania Branch
Inside Sales Team
Joe Burns has joined Alliance Metals as an Inside Sales Representative for the Alliance Pennsylvania Branch.
Joe is a key member of the sales team, supporting customers on a daily basis, as well as working with field sales personnel and other departments within the organization to maintain the level of quality and service Alliance customers expect.
Joe has more than twenty years of sales experience in manufacturing including positions with American Flat Glass, Morgan Corporation, Cintex of America, Inc., and Tilt-Lock, Inc. During his career, Joe has been involved with strategic planning, product development, customer management, as well as coordinating various marketing campaigns.
A native of Minnesota, Joe resides in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.
